With a trailer that seems to promise far more levity than the previous DC Films, Justice League is becoming one of the most-anticipated superhero movies in recent memory.

With the critical drubbing of Suicide Squad, it's on 2017 to prove that Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder have a sense of direction and a plan to catch up to Marvel's crowd-pleasing, money-making cinematic universe.

And in his first tweet since Comic Con last month, Zack Snyder has shared a behind-the-scenes shot that reinforces what he and the cast have been saying for weeks now: Jason Momoa is a constant source of entertainment both on and off camera.

...wait, are we sure he didn't mean Excellent Adventure? I suddenly have "God Gave Rock 'n' Roll To You" stuck in my head.

Anyway, in addition to getting to see Momoa entertaining himself and his castmates (we assume) between takes, this photo gives one of, if not the, best look yet at his Aquaman armor, with texturing that mimics both the scales that make up the classic Aquaman suit and the Pacific Islander-inspired tattoos that we've seen Momoa's Aquaman sporting on his arms when they aren't covered.

Justice League Part One is expected in theaters on November 17, 2017 (the 25th anniversary of the Death of Superman in the comics). It will star Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Bruce Wayne as Batman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Henry Cavill as Superman, J.K. Simmons as Gotham City Police Commissioner James Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera, and Willem Dafoe as Aquaman's Atlantean mentor Vulko.
