Orm the Ocean Master actor Patrick Wilson took to Twitter to have a little fun with Black Manta actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen at Aquaman’s expense. Abdul-Mateen shared a photo of the cover of DC Comics’ Brightest Day #20, a cover which sees Aquaman in the immediate aftermath of having his hand cut off by Black Manta.

Wilson then doubled down on the “Happy Thursday!!!” message from Abdul-Mateen by quoting the tweet and adding his own, “Yes. Bad guys rule.” caption to it.

Jason Momoa’s Aquaman is going to have his work cut out for him when the standalone film rolls around late next year. No word yet on whether or not the feud will be launched in Justice League later this year.
Aquaman currently has a 3.88 out of 5 on ComicBook.com’s anticipating rankings, while Justice League currently has a 4.19 out of 5.
Aquaman stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Ludi Lin, Dolph Lundgren, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Temuera Morrison, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Patrick Cox, Otis Dhanji, and Kaan Guldur.
Wonder Woman is in theaters now, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017, Aquaman on July 27, 2018, Shazam on April 5, 2019, Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019, Cyborg on April 3, 2020, and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, The Batman, Dark Universe, and Man of Steel 2 are currently without release dates.
