AMC has released (via HitFix) a clip from tonight's "Monster Swamp" episode of Preacher.

In it, Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) meets with DeBlanc (Anatol Yusef) and Fiore (Tom Brooke), trying to negotiate a deal with the mysterious men on how best to extract the powerful entity that is inside of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper). The "angels" would prefer cutting it out of Jesse with a chainsaw, but Cassidy would prefer they coax out the entity and get it back inside of its domicile (coffee can) by singing its favorite song: "Wynken, Blynken, and Nod."

The episode's official description reads: "Jesse makes Quincannon a bet he can't refuse; and Cassidy works to fend off the angels. Meanwhile, Tulip tries to bring justice to Annville.."

Based on the popular cult comic book franchise of the same name, "Preacher" is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex -girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of charact ers from heaven, hell and everywhere in between.

The series stars Dominic Cooper ("Captain America: The First Avenger," "Need for Speed") as Jesse Custer, Ruth Negga ("World War Z," "The Samaritan") as Tulip, Joseph Gilgun ("This is England," "Lockout") as Cassidy, Lucy Griffiths ("Winter's Tale," "Robin Hood") as Emily, Earl W. Brown ("The re's Something About Mary," "Scream") as Sheriff Root, Ian Colletti ("Ph oe be in Wonde rland," "Baby Momma") as Eugene and Derek Wilson ( "Rectify ") as Donnie Schenck.

"Preacher" was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg ("This Is the End," "Superbad," "Neighbors") and showrunner Sam Catli n ("Breaking Bad"). Rogen, Goldberg and Catlin will executive produce along with James Weaver, Neal Moritz, Vivian Cannon, Ori Marmur, Matt Tauber, Ken Levin and Jason Netter. Co -executive producers include Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.

The fourth episode of Preacher, "Monster Swamp," will air Sunday, June 19 at 9|8c on AMC.
