AMC has released (via HitFix) a clip from tonight’s “Monster Swamp” episode of Preacher.

In it, Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) meets with DeBlanc (Anatol Yusef) and Fiore (Tom Brooke), trying to negotiate a deal with the mysterious men on how best to extract the powerful entity that is inside of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper). The “angels” would prefer cutting it out of Jesse with a chainsaw, but Cassidy would prefer they coax out the entity and get it back inside of its domicile (coffee can) by singing its favorite song: “Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.”
The episode’s official description reads: “Jesse makes Quincannon a bet he can’t refuse; and Cassidy works to fend off the angels. Meanwhile, Tulip tries to bring justice to Annville..”
Based on the popularcult comic book franchise of the same name, “Preacher” is a supernatural, twisted anddarkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who isinhabited by amysteriousentitythat causes him to develop a highly unusualpower.
