BossLogic recently created a piece celebrating Ritchson’s casting as DC Comics hero Hank Hall/Hawk. The piece show’s Ritchson suited in an updated version of Hawk’s iconic red and white costume. You can check it out below.

Titans marks Ritchson’s return to the DC live-action world, after he appeared as Arthur Curry/Aquaman on Smallville. In recent months, some fans have suggested that he play the lead role in DC Extended Universe’s live-action Shazam!, which BossLogic references in his tweet.

The role Hawk and Dawn Granger/Dove (Minka Kelly) will play into Titans has been speculated about by quite a few fans. The vigilante duo’s arrival was first reported on last month, but very little context has been given as to how they will fit into the show. New speculation suggests that Warner Bros. is interested in developing a Hawk and Dove spinoff series as well. Some – including those of us at ComicBook.com – have even wondered if the casting is a smoke screen, to bring Hawk’s “evil” identity, Monarch, onto Titans.

The ensemble cast for Titans has gradually begun to take shape. Pirates of the Caribbean alum Brenton Thwaites will be playing the coveted role of Dick Grayson/Nightwing, which has led fans to do some very specific research about his assets. Joining Thwaites in the show’s titular ensemble will be Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven and Anna Diop as Koriand’r/Starfire.

Titans does not currently have a release date, but it is set to debut on DC’s new streaming service sometime in 2018.
