Batman and Superman can throw down. Harley Quinn and the Joker can have a bout. Darkseid can be purchased to wreak havoc on the rest of the characters from the DC Comics universe. It is a follow up to the original Injustice game, building on the already beloved first title.

The video above sees ComicBook.com’s ComicBook Now host Brandon Davis squaring off with The Get Up‘s Chris Killian in a best of 5 match up using various characters from Injustice 2.

Injustice was so popular it spawned a comic book series spinoff being published by DC Comics which sold out immediately upon release. Merely four years old, first print copies of the first issue of Injustice: Gods Among Us sells for up to $50 online.

As seen in the first trailer, Injustice 2 will focus more acutely on Supergirl and Brainiac this time around. DC fans know that Brainiac doesn’t have a very peaceful history with the house of El, and after an apocalyptic invasion of Krypton, Kara and Kal both have very personal business to settle with Brainiac, who is coming to their new home world to conquer and destroy.

What follows is a story you have to see to believe. I can’t say too much about it right now because I’m still under embargo, but you’ll be able to check back tonight for our full Injustice 2 review when embargo lifts at 9PM PST. Stay tuned to WWG: this is one review that you will not want to miss.
