This March, Aqualad Jackson Hyde will join the ranks of DC’s most powerful young heroes in Teen Titans #6.

Writer Benjamin Percy will bring back the character — last seen in DC Universe: Rebirth #1 being berated by his mother for being gay — into the series in a story fittingly titled “Aqualad Rising.”
The cover and solicitation text for the issue debuted today at Multiversity Comics, where it’s revealed that DC is playing it coy for the moment.
“New story! New city! New member?” the solicitaiton text — which will likely debut on Monday along with the rest of DC’s solicitations (including the ones we premiered today) — asks.
The character of Jackson Hyde was created in 2010 for Brightest Day, but debuted alongside Young Justice, in which he was a key member of the team. He has the ability to control both water and electricity, and to spontaneously generate gills and webbed fingers/toes when he comes into contact with water.
