Bioshock became an almost instant hit when it first released, combining heart-pounding jump scares with an equally creepy narrative and unique, decision-based gameplay. Players love the underwater world of Rapture and its vintage feel; the game's most terrifying monster, known as Big Daddy, practically became the franchise's hulking mascot. When the franchise followed up with Bioshock Infinite and its continued story through DLC content, the fandom fueled to life again, powered by airships and religious cults. Now, to celebrate ten years of Bioshock, Playstation is offering a commemorative theme with a few cool interactive bonuses.

The theme isn't a direct anniversary celebration, of course -- technically, Bioshock turned ten back in August. But what the theme does accomplish is an interesting transition between several familiar settings, from the skybound city of Columbia to a creepy, dark room in Rapture. Your primary screen icons are re-branded to fit the theme as well. There's not much more to it, but the theme is still pretty neat for anyone who loves the series.

Fans of the Bioshock saga can pick up the theme for $1.99 from the Playstation Store. Once you're got it, you can set it up by selecting your settings menu, choosing Theme Settings, and then picking it from the selection available there. Themes are always a nice change of scenery from the standard Playstation blue, so this one delivers pretty well on that.

Bioshock Infinite is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PC.
