The second chapter — named “The Pact” — was originally scheduled to release on September 26th, based on this previous announcement. However, Telltale recently took to Twitter to confirm a slight delay for the next chapter in the series, but not too far off.

“Harley Quinn makes her Telltale debut in the next episode of #Batman: The Enemy Within, out October 3rd!” the company noted in its tweet.

So, in essence, you’re only waiting about an extra week to play the latest chapter in the series. Plus, it’ll give you some time to imagine what Harley could possibly be up to in the game, especially with the Joker making the rounds. And you shouldn’t forget about the sadistic new Riddler either.

In a previous press release for the episode, Telltale noted the following:

“In keeping with our efforts to create our own unique take on the Batman canon, we’ve worked hard to craft an interpretation of the character that captures her essential qualities while still framing her in a new way. The power dynamic between Harley and ‘John Doe’ should prove especially…intriguing.”

The chapter will release digitally first, but for those of you that have to have your physical games, there will be a Season Pass Disc that actually comes out the same day, October 3rd, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Perhaps that’s why Telltale delayed the game a week, so that it could sync up with that physical release so players could hop right into the action with the latest chapter.

And keep in mind that The Enemy Within is coming to the Nintendo Switch as well before the year is out. More than likely, Telltale is waiting to release a few more chapters before that game makes its way to release. We’ll have more information on the release once info becomes available.

Batman: The Enemy Within is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
