With some Call of Duty: WWII copies already in the wild – even though some aren’t quite playable yet – fans are discovering all sorts of information about the game that have begun to leak early. We’ve managed to get a hold of some of these details (thanks to Charlie Intel) and report them here for you.

Now, until the game is officially released, we can’t confirm these one hundred percent. But they sound quite legitimate, and there’s a lot that fans will be able to look forward to when the game officially drops in a few days.
For now, let’s look at the speculative details on what could be coming our way!
Zombies Maps – Yes, There Are Two
Apparently, there won’t just be a solo Zombies adventure included with Call of Duty: WWII. While the first one – which is apparently being called The Final Reich – will keep players busy, there seems to be note of a second one making the rounds.
According to the information from Reddit (which apparently has since been taken down), the second Zombies map is being called Groesten Haus. Word has it that this unlocks after players beat the first map in the game, being able to move on to tougher territory.
There’s also the possibility we’ll see more Zombies maps added via DLC, through the Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass. But nothing’s confirmed just yet, so we’ll see what Activision announces.
Available Weaponry
We’ve managed to get a hold of the full weapons list that will be included in Call of Duty: WWII‘s multiplayer mode, and there’s an impressive array to choose from. It’s all broken down below:
- Assault:
- M1941
- M1 Garand
- STG 44
- M1A1
- FG 42
- BAR
- SWT-40
- SMG:
- M3
- PPSH
- Type 100
- Waffe 28
- M1928
- MP 40
- LMGs:
- Lewis
- MG 15
- Bren
- MG 42
- Snipers:
- Model 38M
- Lee Enfield
- M1903
- KAR 98K
In addition, the game will also feature four different shotguns, though specific details weren’t given as of yet. Bigger weapons may be introduced later on as well. And let’s not forget about those awesome killstreaks you can earn!
Multiplayer Maps and War Mode Operations
For those looking to stuff to do with their friends, a full list of maps were given for the game, along with the three War Mode Operations you’ll be able to take part in. You can find them all below:
- Aachen
- Ardennes Forest
- Flak Tower
- Gibraltar
- Gustav Cannon
- London Docks
- Pointe Du Hoc
- Sainte-Marie-du-Mont
- USS Texas
- Carentan (for Season Pass only)
There are 3 War mode operations:
- Operation Breakout
- Operation Griffin
- Operation Neptune – takes place on Omaha Beach during D-Day.
That’s a pretty good amount, but keep in mind that more could be added to the game via the Season Pass over the next year. We’re bound to see at least a dozen more Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer maps, and possibly another War Mode Operation or two. We’ll see what Activision announces when the time is right.
Battling With the Bots
Finally, let’s say you’re afraid to get into Call of Duty: WWII, because some players might be too good for you to handle. However, according to the leaks, it appears that you’ll be able to, at the very least, lay waste to a few AI-driven soldiers, depending on their difficulty setting.
The reports indicate that bots can now be used within the game in multiplayer, by choosing Private Match and practicing with whatever count you prefer. This is a great way to get oriented with the game before you hop online, with up to 12 bots being available in a match in War Mode Operations. It’s a good chance to get some practice in, just in case you need it.
Call of Duty: WWII releases on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
