Last week, we reported on the news that Sledgehammer Games would be debuting a first look at the new Zombies mode that will be included in Call of Duty: WWII – and based on what we've heard thus far, it's going to be pretty damn squeamish.

But if you don't believe us, Sledgehammer dropped even more hints in terms of what we can expect from the new mode – and, yeah, if you already ate, you may want to hold off on looking any further.

If not, well, check out the new pic below.

Glen Schofield, co-founder of Sledgehammer, tweeted out the pic, and it's a little hard to determine just what it is. We know we can make out the flesh-like walls that appear to be surrounding some kind of metal, and this could very well be the innards of a zombie, or probably something even more disgusting than that. Either way, we're intrigued in terms of finding out just what the heck this is.

What's interesting about this, though, is that the zombies in Call of Duty: WWII could have some kind of twisted deviation to them, instead of just being the usual run-of-the-mill undead we've come to expect from the mode over the years. That means the Nazis could be behind these monstrosities, trying to build something up in terms of attempting to stop American forces – even if that means reviving the undead. (We surmised as much when Sledgehammer previously noted that they were the "Third Reich's desperate attempt to create an army in the final stages of the war," thus putting a neat little twist on World War II to try and turn the tide back in their favor.

Schofield also answered a fan's question when they asked how much it would relate to EA's Dead Space series, since most of Sledgehammer's employees worked on that franchise before striking out on their own. Schofield replied, "Zombies is its own thing but with a similar sick, twisted vibe. The world is definitely in its own dark place. Very dark. Fun as hell tho."

We'll find out soon enough, as the team will have a panel at San Diego Comic-Con in just a couple of weeks to detail what to expect from the new mode. Maybe don't eat first before you play, yeah?

Call of Duty: WWII arrives on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
