When the initial streaming guidelines for Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony were first released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC users; more than a few eyebrows were raised. The set rules were unusually strict due to the separate release dates per region.
The developer behind the title, Spike Chunsoft, immediately ruffled feathers among fans and the streaming community. Amidst overwhelming feedback, the team decided to rescind their initial harsh restrictions and loosen up what streamers are allowed to reveal to the public.

For anyone looking to participate in Let’s Plays and other live content, players are now allowed to stream more than just the first chapter of the new title. With the prior restriction, players would have been lucky to get 3 hours of game time, but now they’ve opened up the requirements while still laying some ground rules.
The new guidelines put into place allows streamers to broadcast more of the game, but they ask that they make it extremely clear to anyone watching that it will contain copious amounts of spoilers. For those looking to get a feel for the game before they purchase, this will allow plenty of warning prior to the stream’s beginning.
Going a step further into making sure that the community knows that Spike Chunsoft heard the complaints, they make it extremely clear that the harsh penalties have been receded, “Streaming Danganronpa V3 past Chapter 1 will not get anyone banned. Please remind players there WILL be spoilers past this point.”
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will be available for North American audiences on September 26th, with a European release date slated for a few days later on September 29th.
