Dead Rising 4’s Capcom Heroes Introduces New Outfits, Including Jill Valentine’s Resident Evil 3 Get-Up

Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package will be just the relief we need this holiday season, letting us rummage through a Christmas-filled town with Frank West as we kill thousands of zombies in one flail swoop. But things are going to be a little crazier than expected, as a new trailer has revealed some new abilities that will be available in the game’s Capcom Heroes mode.

How crazy, you ask? Have you ever seen Frank West dress up in Jill Valentine’s halter top and skirt from Resident Evil 3? You’ll have your opportunity – and you’ll be able to use her abilities as well.

But there’s more – much more. Additional heroes have been added to bring the total count to 17, and there are some recognizable ones that are welcome back to the PlayStation 4 front. These include an Ameratsu costume that will let you unleash havoc while dressed like a white wolf (with flames on the side!); a Bass costume from the Mega Man universe where you can “ground pound” and perform other moves to achieve victory; and even a Morrigan costume from Darkstalkers with supernatural capabilities – though Frank does look weird in Goth fashion.

There’s even a Viewtiful Joe costume, where you can slow down time and send zombies flying with your impressive speed.

The costumes that will be included in Capcom Heroes include the following:

  • Jill Valentine (Resident Evil)
  • Arthur (Ghosts ‘n Goblins)
  • Morrigan (Darkstalkers)
  • Bass (Mega Man)
  • Viewtiful Joe
  • Ameratsu (Okami)
  • X (Mega Man X)
  • Sissel (Ghost Trick)
  • Adam “The Clown” (Dead Rising)
  • MacIntyre (Dead Rising)
  • Dante (Devil May Cry)
  • “Classic” Frank West (Dead Rising)
  • Mecha Zangief (Street Fighter)
  • Bison (Street Fighter)
  • Cammy (Street Fighter)
  • Ryu (Street Fighter)
  • Akuma (Street Fighter)

The Capcom Heroes mode won’t just be a part of Frank’s Big Package. Owners of the Xbox One and PC versions of Dead Rising 4 will be able to download it too, as it’ll be available as a free update when the new version releases on December 5th.

Frank may look ridiculous in a number of these costumes, but he’ll be kicking plenty of butt with them. Now it's just a matter of finding a mini skirt that will fit him.
