Bungie's long-awaited Destiny 2 has finally come out for consoles, and despite a few minor setbacks, it's delivering just where players want it to, with a plethora of content and plenty of options for solo and multiplayer team-ups. But some fans may be wondering when they'll be able to take part in Raids and Nightfall missions within the game. Good news – not long.

Bungie confirmed in a recent blog post that these events are on the way to the game. In fact, the first Nightfall Strike recently became available, while the first Raid is set to go on September 13th – just a few days from now – starting at 1 PM EDT.

As for what the Raid will entail, Bungie is keeping it pretty much a secret. "If you have witnessed the race to become the first to topple the final boss, you know we keep Raid info well under wraps," Bungie said. "These are your moments to discover--your mysteries to solve. We've given you the when. You will soon discover the who, the what, and the where. Together, as a team, you might even discover the how."

As for the Guided Games system, which a lot of players are looking forward to, it won't be debuting until September 12th at 10 AM PDT, where it will be available as a "soft beta."

"This will allow us to slowly ramp up players over the course of September (and allow Clan populations to grow) so that everyone has a great experience," Bungie explained. "During the Guided Games Beta period, we need your Clans to fully test the system at scale. All Clans will be able to guide solo players, so once you've mastered the Nightfall, Fireteam up and guide solo players to the highest heights."

There will also be some new Guided Games events starting September 26th at 10 AM PDT, for both Nightfalls and Raids, so if you're new, be sure to jump in and see what it's all about!

Destiny 2 is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will release on October 24th on PC.
