Bungie is getting ready to officially launch their PC version of the popular shooter Destiny 2, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop celebrating the community’s in-game achievements. Between incredible strike completion, Leviathan Raid feats, and numerous amounts of other skills shown off in the MMO – there’s a lot of ways gamers can share their experiences. Because of that, Bungie features their Top Plays of the Week to show off the good, the bad, and in this case – the total failure. This week’s “Reel ‘Em In” segment features “The Bodyguard”, a huge compilation of fails, and one impressive team takedown in PvP.

Let’s dive right in!

Movie of the Week – Hardhat Area

The first pick of the week is a Destiny 2 fail compilation courtesy of YouTuberย Caliber Seraphim. Commenters were quick to notice that this is just too much bad luck crammed into one video. It would make you feel for the player … if you can stop laughing long enough, that is. Take a look at the Movie of the Week in the video below to see the epic fails for your viewing pleasure:ย

Fans of the Nickelodeon show iCarly might recognizeย the upbeat tune in the background, but don’t let that distract you from the … well, just bad plays being made. Not everyone is a pro, and that’s OK! But at this point, it almost hurts to watch.ย

Honorable Mention – The Bodyguard

The next clip is less of a YouTubeย video and more of a hilarious GIFย that one player caught during their run in the Leviathan Raid going up against the main boss himself: Emperor Calus. If you listen closely, you canย almostย hear Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” song playing in the background (not really). But those moves … that’s love:ย

“Aannnndย IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIย eeIIIIIIIIย will alwaaaaaysย love YOuuuUUuUuuUu” – No? Well, we thought it was funny. If only we all had a cabal that looked at us the way this one looks at Emperor Calus. We can only dream. But this leads us into our final clip of the week, the Double Double Fusion.ย

Honorable Mention – Double Double Fusion

The third and final clip of the week comes courtesy of YouTuberย Lane Gascoigne. His impressive capturing of the zone was dedicated, but players were quick to comment on his takedown by joking that his skills were going to jumpstartย another nerfย from Bungie. With the way he was able to take out a line of players, it’s clear why his favors the fusion rifle class. Take a look at the video below to see his epic team contribution:

For those currently playingย Destiny 2, if you have any epic takedowns or gorgeousย creations like the Frontier video above, make sure to record them and send them to Bungie! Winners chosen to be featured on their “Movie of the Week High Lights” blurb will receive an exclusive emblem to show off to other players. Have something awesome to submit already?ย Send it in right here!ย

Destiny 2ย is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release set for October 24th!ย
