Xur is the mysterious merchant that has some sweet loot … if you can find him. Luckily for Destiny 2 players, he’s much easier to find in the sequel than in the first title – even easier still with a little additional help. For those looking to scope out the exotic wares that the infamous Xur has to offer, look no further that Nessus.

Where is Xur hiding right now?

Players can find the merchant this week on Nessus within the Arcadian Valley of Watcher’s Grave. For those that have been tracking Xur’s movements through the weeks, his haunt is familiar to that of his first appearance in the sequel – taking a high location within a tree. Xur is only available during specific times, and leaves once the weekly Tuesday reset hits, so make sure to take advantage of his new location if any of the below gear interests you.

What does this week bring for exotic armor?

One benefit of tracking down this shady vendor is his exotic items he keeps in stock. This week’s armor and weapon choices offer additional perks for Guardians diving into the world of PvP, or those still powering through PvEย events. The simple breakdown for armor offered is:ย

hunter helm
  • Knucklehead Radar Helmet – Hunters
    • Players might remember this from the first Destiny, it allows Guardians to keep their radar active while sighting down an enemy.
  • Peacekeepers Boots – Titans
    • Allows for instant reload of any submachineย gun when stowed, making the loadoutย switch much more effective.
  • Wings of the Sacred Dawn Chest Piece – Warlocks
    • Allows Warlocks to hover in the air while taking aim while the Dawnblade subclass is active.ย

What does this week bring for exotic weapon choices?ย

For this period, Xur offers the Fighting Lion Grenade Launcher – though it’s not worth the in-game currency. The weapon itself looks amazing, the detailing on it is gorgeous but unfortunatelyย the stats were less than impressive. In fact, many players call this one of the worst exotics in the game period. That says a lot.ย

The damage is little, the discharge is underwhelming, and the exotic perk is frustratinglyย difficult to trigger. But just because the weapon was a disappointment, doesn’t mean that the armor this week isn’t worth seeking him out. Especially those boots – they have a stackable advantage that could boost a player a lot in the world of PvP.

Destiny 2 is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release slated for October 24th.
