Destiny 2: Xur Location and Exotic Gear
We love Xur. He's a wonderful mixture of Where's Waldo and Santa Clause. Thankfully he's a little [...]
Weapon: Vigilance Wing
Vigilance wing is one of the best pulse rifles in the game, hands down. This puppy is super stable, has a large magazine, and shoots in 5-round bursts. It's a monster in PvP, and the only kinetic weapon that I regularly equip instead of the MIDA Multi-Tool. Here are the perks:
Harsh Truths
- This weapon fires a 5-round burst. When a nearby ally is killed, gain health regeneration and increased movement speed.
Corkscrew Rifling
- Balanced barrel.
- Slightly increases range and stability
- Slightly increases handling speed
Alloy Magazine
- Faster reloads when the magazine is empty.
Last Stand
- Improved weapon performance when its wielder is the last living member of a fireteam.
Composite Stock
- This weapon has a versatile dual-purpose stock. Slightly increases stability Slightly increases handling speed
Hunter Armor: Foetracer
Foetracer basically turns you into an elite bounty hunter from the Star Wars universe. This is a helmet that your opponents will be loathe to see in the Crucible, since it basically allows your team to single-out the weak and the bleeding, and take them out even sooner. The Tracker ability gives you a merciless edge when you're already doing well, so get in there with your trials fireteam and play aggressively. Here are the armor perks:
Relentless Tracker
- Visually marks targeted enemies.
- Deals more damage to low-health marked enemies.
Plasteel Reinforcement Mod
- Increased Resilience.
Restorative Mod
- Increased Health Recovery.
Titan Armor: An Insurmountable Skullfort
Here's one of the freaking coolest Titan helmets in the game. You guys will no doubt remember seeing this around the Tower in the original Destiny. While not incredible useful in PvP, the main armor perk makes your Titan a true tank in PvE endeavors and strikes. Melee kills will restore health and recharge the melee ability, so get in there and wreak havoc. Just... make sure you have some good backup. Here are the perks:
Transfusion Matrix
- Kills with Arc melee abilities trigger health regeneration and restore melee energy.
Mobility Enhancement Mod
- Increased Mobility
Restorative Mod
- Increased Health Recovery.
Warlock Armor: Nezarec's Sin
By far one of the best helmets in the game for Warlocks right now, Nexarec's Sin basically attempts to make every battle feel like "Mayhem Clash." If you have void weapons equipped and are using the Void-based sub-class, pretty much every single kill is going to contribute to the recharge rate of your abilities and queue them up sooner. For active run-and-gun Warlocks, things are about to get nasty (in a good way). Here are the perks:
Abyssal Extractors
- Void-damage kills increase ability energy recharge rate.
Mobility Enhancement Mod
- Increased Mobility
Restorative Mod
- Increased Health Recovery.
That wraps up Xur's lineup for this weekend! Will you be swapping out your Crucible staple for the Vigilance Wing? Is it enough to finally get you to put away that MIDA Multi-Tool? Cast your vote below!
