The Nintendo Switch continues to expand and diversify its library with the psychological thriller Don't Knock Twice slated for an October release. Though the Big N has yet to address the announcement full on, the horror title was spotted directly on the main Nintendo website for sale.

The retail listing only recently appeared and is currently set for a $14.99 price tag. According to the Nintendo description for the game:

"Don't Knock Twice is a first-person horror game based on a psychologically terrifying urban legend. To save her estranged daughter, a guilt-ridden mother must uncover the frightening truth behind the urban tale of a vengeful, demonic witch.

Explore a grand manor house and interact with almost every object you see. To find and save your daughter, you will explore all depths of the manor, searching for hidden clues and using items to fight or escape the terror that surrounds you. The game is based on the film, Don't Knock Twice, starring Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and directed by Caradog James (The Machine)."

The game originally came out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 earlier this year, with a PC release a few months later. The horror title has "very positive" reviews on its Steam page, but was met with mixed criticisms from other reviewer sites. Some hailed the game as a fantastic movie adaptation, while others called it a sloppy mess with no outstanding features. With a title like this, it comes down to personal preference.

Don't Knock Twice comes to the Nintendo Switch on October 17th, 2018.
