Even with all the talk surrounding Dragon Ball FighterZ right now – especially with the recent beta making the rounds – Bandai Namco hasn't forgotten about players that are getting into Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

A new scan from V-Jump Magazine (courtesy of DualShockers) indicates that two new characters will be joining the fray as downloadable characters in the 3D fighting game.

Fans of the Majin Buu Saga will recognize these characters, as they're none other than Buuhan and Dabura. You can see their images in the scan below, with the new version of Buu (after absorbing Gohan) and Demon King Dabura ready for a fight.

In addition to that, there appears to be another mentor that's being added to the game – Zamasu, who originally appeared in Dragon Ball Super. In case you're not familiar with mentors, they basically teach you new skills, which you can then use with some of your favorite characters within the game.

That said, Bandai Namco hasn't provided an official release date for the characters. However, it appears that they could be tied in with the forthcoming Nintendo Switch version of Xenoverse 2, which is set to debut this Friday. The ad clearly states that the DLC characters are coming to the Switch version, as well as the PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, there's no word on Xbox One and PC, but we don't see why those would be left out, especially since they're so popular here in the States and in Europe. Expect a more formal announcement soon.

It's good to see Xenoverse 2 get some support, especially with FighterZ picking up so much popularity, with its release set to come next February for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Feedback for the game has been nothing short of stellar, as fans have been highly anticipating the 2D fighting game. For now, though, Xenoverse 2 should get a good amount of traction on the Switch, especially since FighterZ hasn't been confirmed for that platform just yet.

We'll let you know once a release date and pricing details are revealed for Buuhan and Dabura.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and will release on September 22nd for Nintendo Switch.
