Friday the 13th: The Game has quite a bit of new content on the way with a new Counselor, Jason variation, and map coming soon, and the stats for the latest additions have recently been revealed.

A content roadmap was created by F13th: The Game devs Gun Media to illustrate where they stood with upcoming content and keep players in the loop, and with the latest Counselor’s identity confirmed, they seem to be burning through the infographic pretty quickly. Players have been requesting new content for some time in addition to the emotes and clothing packs that were recently added, and the new playable characters couldn’t come at a better time than their scheduled release date of Oct. 13, a Friday the 13th, no less.

Mitch Floyd

The newest Counselor unlucky enough to join the roster of Jason’s prey is Mitch Floyd, a pretty chill guy who AJ mains will likely enjoy trying out.

Mitch was previewed through the game’s Twitter account with a post that invited players to Mitch’s house part, and an update on the game’s official site provides more details about the character. Above are Mitch’s stats, his two best areas being Composure and Repair with Stealth coming in at a close third. Don’t expect to get too lucky or move too quick though, as Luck, Speed, and Stamina are three of the laid-back Counselor’s lowest stats.

For those that remember the movies fondly, you’ll likely recognize Mitch’s character as chuck from Friday the 13th Part III. He doesn’t carry the same name, but the similarities for the stereotypical character are certainly there.

Part IV Jason Stats

Moving on to a much less relaxed character, Part IV’s Jason that’s also being added for free on Oct. 13 had his aggressive stats revealed, but the pros come with some harsh drawbacks.

As for his strengths, this Jason excels at staying on the heels of Counselors by his normal moves, not his special powers. Part IV Jason can run, has increased weapon strength, and busts down doors quicker, so expect his pursuit to be a relentless one.

However, he won’t be able to use two of Jason’s most powerful abilities quite as well. His Shift has a higher cooldown, and he also won’t start out with as many bear traps. The lower movement speed while in water is pretty negligible though seeing how infrequently Jason finds himself going for a swim after Counselors, to that downside shouldn’t be too impactful.

Jarvis Residence Map and Weather Effects

ย

Rounding out the last of the content being added is the new Jarvis Residence map as well as some stormy weather effects to add to the game’s ominous ambience.

An iconic location that also came from Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, the Jarvis Residence has a large, central cabin like the other maps alongside a vacation home across the way. The map was previewed in the trailer shown above that features Part IV Jason wandering through the map before hitting Chad where it hurts, presumably using one of his new kills with the Pig Splitter.

All of the new content previewed by Gun Media will be added for free on Oct. 13.
