Call of Duty: WWII is bringing a lot to the table when it arrives this November, including a solid single player campaign and strong multiplayer options. But one other mode you'll be able to take part in is Headquarters Mode, and today Activision provided a closer look out of what we can expect from the mode.

"Warm up in the Firing Range, prove you're the best in the 1v1 Pit, watch Call of Duty esports matches live in the Theater, man the AA guns to earn rewards, and much more in Call of Duty's first-ever dedicated social space," the company noted in its press release. "Introducing Headquarters, coming to Call of Duty: WWII November 3rd."

The Headquarters mode serves to act as a social hub, where players can get together and partake in different activities in-between their sessions in multiplayer and taking on the single player campaign. It looks to have some kind of third-person perspective when it comes to getting around, even though the 1 vs 1 Pit mode looks to have more of a traditional first-person perspective. No matter. Based on what we've seen so far, the mode looks awesome.

Sadly, we won't be able to try it out just yet, as the mode won't be available in the forthcoming Private Beta, which will be launching over the next few days. Nevertheless, the trailer gives you a pretty good idea out of what you can expect from it, and what kind of features will be available. And, honestly, the idea of being able to challenge someone in a one-on-one affair sounds pretty damn good, especially if you've got a score to settle with someone that keeps fragging you, or you just want to see how you fare against your buddies.

The Theater mode looks to be a great feature as well, as you can catch up on all the Call of Duty World League action in one place, and then burn off some steam with the AA guns in-between rounds. How many esports-friendly modes let you do that?

We've attached several new screenshots from the mode in the gallery, so be sure to check them out!

Call of Duty: WWII arrives on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
