Looking for a solid Marvel Comics game for your smartphone or tablet? Then you could do a lot worse than Marvel Future Fight, the Diablo-like action RPG that was released in 2015 and is still going strong today. Marvel Future Fight has accumulated a lot of characters – over 100 if you include variants – but up until now, licensing intricacies meant there were no X-Men characters in the game. Well, that’s changing in a big way!

Last week we reported that Cyclops and Storm will be joining the fight, but apparently that was just scratching the surface! The makers of Marvel Future Fight have since announced the game will be getting seven mutants in all – Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, Beast, Wolverine, Jean Grey, and Magneto. Yes, that’s basically the classic lineup for the 90s X-Men Saturday morning cartoon. All they’re missing is Gambit and Jubilee, which is okay, because they both kind of suck. Sorry, it’s true.
You can check out a full trailer for the X-Men‘s invasion of Marvel Future Fight at the top of this post. Scroll on down for bios of all the newly-revealed characters…
X-Men: Rogue, Beast & Wolverine
Rogue is a unique mutant — she has the ability to absorb the powers of anyone she touches, although she is a skilled combatant on her own. pic.twitter.com/XnDlWo35Fv

This is Beast, also known as Hank McCoy. A brilliant genetic researcher, turned into a mutant by his own research. pic.twitter.com/Qv1vVpHawM

Wolverine, A.K.A. Logan, has super human healing abilities, rendering him practically unkillable, and a bucket full of attitude to boot. pic.twitter.com/9H7JPfbaBY

First up, we have Rogue, Beast, and Wolverine. As you would expect, Rogue can absorb other characters’ powers, while Beast and Wolverine are more traditional brawlers.
That said, Beast has some interesting “mutant powers,” including one called Stars and Garters. Also, Rogue can throw a piledriver? I don’t recall her doing a lot of pro wrestling moves, but sure, why not? Actually, now I really want an X-Men wrestling game.
X-Men: Jean Grey & Magneto
As an omega level telepath, Jean Grey wields incredible power. We should keep a close watch on her. pic.twitter.com/KC6YibtF6R

Possibly the biggest threat, and enemy of the X-Men, Magneto wields the ability to manipulate magnetic force fields. pic.twitter.com/DrAzS8rrJs

Finally, we have Jean Grey and Magneto, who seem to be more ranged fighters.
