Nyko's Nintendo Power Suite: Three Must-Own Accessories for the Active Switch Gamer
Nyko is proving its commitment to the Nintendo Switch. I've been delighted to see that, as new and [...]
Charge Block Pro for Switch
The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller boasts a pretty impressive battery life, but for many of you, this is your primary controller. One nice thing about the Wii U was the ability to set the Wii U Game Pad down in its cradle, and know that any time you picked it up it was going to be fully charged and ready to go.
That's basically what the Charge Block Pro does for your Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. You'll snap a discreet little dongle into the top charging port of your Pro Controller, which will allow you to simple set the Pro Controller down in Nyko's charging block. Like the Wii U Game Pad cradle, Nyko's charging block is small and discreet. It looks great on my gaming sheld next to all of my other hardware, and when I'm ready to game there are new wires or cords to worry about. Simply lift it out, and it's charged and ready to go.
You can find the Charge Block Pro right here for $19.99.
Charge Block for Joy-Con
The Charge Block for Joy-Con is probably my favorite of the bunch. I knew that local multiplayer would be a huge focus for me, and so I made sure to get a few sets of Joy-Con right at launch. Keeping track of all of those tiny little slates and keeping them charged has been a bigger task than I anticipated. Until lately, I simply had to make sure my Nintendo Switch charge grip was fully juiced, and I alternated storing sets of Joy-Con in that grip to try and keep them charged.
With the Charge Block, I can keep all four of my Joy-Con in one place, all paired together, and all fully charged. Unfortunately all of my Joy-Con are grey, but for those of you who own multiple sets of neon Joy-Con (green, pink, yellow, blue, red), or custom Joy-Con, the Charge Block will be the perfect way for you to display them on your gaming shelf. At $19.99 it's hard to imagine a more practical storage and charging solution.
