Blizzard has announced that the Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 event is underway, with a number of new skins and other goodies to unlock as you fend off opponents and pick up on some ghoulish rewards!

“This Halloween, explore the haunted streets of Eichenwalde and Hollywood, expand your collection of spooky seasonal cosmetics, and team up to fight the forces of evil once more in not one, but two Junkenstein’s Revenge-themed brawls! We’re also re-opening our crypt so players can unlock their favorite Halloween-themed items from last year along with over 50 new tantalizing treats, including legendary skins like Corsair Ana, Van Helsing McCree, Dragon Symmetra, Cultist Zenyatta, and more,” the company noted in its blog post.

“It’s time to face the night, heroes—gather your friends, and revel in wicked delight!”

You can see the awesome number of skins available at that link, including a Cthulhu-like Cultist look for Zenyatta, a Dr. Junkenstein costume for Junkrat, and so much more. There are some great new highlight intros and emotes to pick up as well. (You can see a few of them in the launch trailer for the event, which is above.)

What’s more, when you do earn these items (with over 140 to collect in all), you’ll do so in a traditional trick-or-treat jack-o-lantern loot box, complete with handle. Except you’ll be getting all of the treats and none of the tricks. It makes us want to go trick-or-treating, actually. (For skins, mind you – we got enough junk food.) You can buy these in the game now, in case you want to stock up!

There’s also a new PvE based event called Junkenstein’s Revenge, where you can shut down the competition in a spooky surrounding. It’s definitely a great way to celebrate the not-so-traditional Halloween with your friends, without the need to set dog poop on fire in a baggie. Or throwing TP (though that’d be great to do in the game, wouldn’t it?)

Overwatch is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
