Your wedding will likely be one of the most important and memorable days of your life, so it’s important to do everything right. Thankfully, if you live in Japan, you can now make it official with marriage registration forms featuring an adorable electric rat couple. Dammit, I knew my wedding was missing something.

Japanese wedding magazine Zexy includes the Pikachu marriage forms in their most recent issue, which can be filled out and used in a real ceremony or taken down to city hall. I’ll admit, in an alternate universe where I’m Japanese and getting married again, I’d be pretty tempted. I mean, look at that happy Pikachu couple in the corner! The fact that the Bride Pikachu is wearing a full dress, while the Groom Pikachu is pantsless is a little weird, but hey, who am I to criticize their proud Pokemon customs?
Zexy even released a trailer for the marriage forms, which you can check out above. Yes, trailers for legal documents are apparently a thing now. Japanese fans who translate what Pikachu is trying to say with his random gibberish will win a personalized Pikachu welcome sign for their wedding. You can check it out in the gallery below — these Poke lovebirds are going to make so many little Pikachu babies.
By the way, this is all intended as a rather strange promotion for upcoming movie Pokemon: I Choose You! It’s the 20th Pokemon anime movie to date, and the first one based on Pokemon Sun and Moon. You can check out a brief teaser for the film, below.
Pokemon: I Choose You! releases in July 15 in Japan. There isn’t a North American date yet, although the Pokemon movies usually arrive here in December.
