We're just a few days away from the kick-off of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, and we know that the team at Telltale Games is working on something for the show, as it has a reasonable amount of space reserved in the Concourse Hall. But the question is, what?

More than likely, the space won't be for the forthcoming chapters of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, since it will likely have a new project on hand. Well, thanks to a new reveal from the Australian Classification Board, we might just have a good idea what.

According to the board, it indicates that there's an approval rating for Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2 – Episode 1: Hero In Residence, as of June 2nd. That means we could very well be getting the return of this particular series sooner rather than later.

The original Minecraft Story Mode got its start some time back, featuring an all-star cast of actors, including Patton Oswalt and Paul Reubens, among others, bringing life to blocky characters from the popular series, telling more of a story instead of following the usual Mojang set-up.

It did pretty well, despite some early criticism from fans who felt that Minecraft didn't really need a story, so it would make sense that it would return for a second season, with even more shenanigans for the main characters. Now the only question is what kind of direction the sequel would take -- and if the full cast, including Oswalt, would be making a return.

We'll know soon enough, as the show is just days away, and Telltale could make an announcement any day now highlighting its plans. Expect Minecraft to take the forefront, and other possibilities, like the return to Borderlands territory, to possibly be close behind.

Hey, guys…can we get some more The Wolf Among Us? If you find time.
