Destiny 2 drops in just a few days' time for consoles, and fans are excited to see what the main game has to offer. However, in pure Destiny fashion, the game will also come with two additional expansions via the Expansion Pass, which can be picked up for $34.99, although you can also get the Game and Expansion Pass together and save a few bucks.

Well, according to Kotaku, some first details have been revealed regarding the first expansion that it will be available with the game. The expansion is reportedly being called The Curse of Osiris, and will focus on the mighty space wizard Osiris, while also offering a new patrol zone on Mercury and a new social space over at the Lighthouse.

The Curse of Osiris will reportedly drop in December 2017, while the yet unnamed second expansion will come out sometime in spring 2018.

The story will also possibly deal with having to save Osiris from the Vex, although official details have yet to be revealed.

Bungie did note that it would be teasing the live action trailer for Destiny 2 tomorrow, set to premiere around 11 AM EDT. Maybe, around that time, we'll get a hint as to what the expansion is all about, and if it is in fact true.

The company already noted that the expansion pass will be loaded with goodness, noting, "Get access to both Expansion I and Expansion II, offering brand new story missions, co-operative activities, competitive multiplayer, and a wealth of new weapons, armor, and gear." Obviously, the previous Destiny had its fair share of add-ons and expansions to keep players happy, and Destiny 2 should easily follow suit with a plethora of fresh content.

We'll keep you informed once more official details about the Expansion Pass come to light, but, hopefully, we'll be seeing some callbacks to the original game, as well as some original stuff that will happily put us back on the grind as we earn new gear and loot up the place after laying waste to some aliens. Gather your friends!

Destiny 2 releases on September 6th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and October 24th for PC.
