It’s that inevitable time. The time when those older games many loved must pass on into the realm of dusty games. At least when it comes down to the multiplayer aspects. Multiplayer was something that Ubisoft thrived on, even in the humble beginnings. But that doesn’t mean they require any less work and as games age, technology progresses, and new titles come out – sometimes it’s time to say goodbye to those titles that many have enjoyed through the years.

The server space must be freed and because of this, Ubisoft has made the official announcement of several titles that will be losing their online support spanning several platforms. For the full list of games being halted, Ubisoft has provided which titles will be affected below.
Full list of games being shut down on November 11
The below titles consist of games with multiplayer components for PC, Mac, iOS, Wii-U, PlayStation 3, and the Xboxย 360:ย

SP vs MP
Though the above titles will be losing their multiplayer modes, the single-player components will still be alive and well. The Uplayย service will also cease to be compatible with the above titles, with in-game news and player stats also retiring forever. Any rewards earned or aimed to be used for the games listed will also be rendered useless as of November 11th.ย
Luckily, the single-player componentsย of many of the mentioned titles are stellar on their own. It’s the cycle of online gaming, though as developers with MP in mind continue to deliverย also a solid single-player experience, the loss is isn’t overwhelming. As an added bonus, game releases continue to be a constant with amazing titles that provide stunning experiences. We’ll just put our focus back on those, for now.
