This upcoming tag team fighter will let players build teams of Marvel heroes and villains to take on a variety of fast-paced, challenging battles and experiences. This initial round of Closed Beta testing is available for PS5 gamers only, though the game itself will also release for PC. Selected gamers will receive one email confirming they are accepted into the Closed Beta for Marvel Tokon. Depending on the timing of your acceptance email, download instructions may come as a separate email closer to the beta testing period.
How Long Does the Marvel Tokon Closed Beta Last?
The first Closed Beta for Marvel Tokon lasts for a little under 2 full days. The test period ends on September 7th at 11:00 PM EDT. After that time, gamers will no longer be able to access Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
So far, no additional rounds of beta testing have been announced. However, given that this was the first Closed Beta, it’s possible that future opportunties to playtest Marvel Tokon will arrive ahead of its 2026 release date.
What Content Is Available in the Marvel Tokon Closed Beta?
The first Closed Beta for Marvel Tokon will feature six playable characters from the game’s full roster. The known characters for the Beta will be:

- Star-Lord
- Storm
Players will be able to experience limited offline matches, along with online lobby matches against other players. Three combat stages from Marvel’s version of New York will be available for players to test out their chosen heroes’ moves.
You can still sign up for the Marvel Tokon Beta, with invitation emails already rolling out to select players. A PS5 console is required for this PS5-exclusive round of playtesting. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will release for PC and PS5 in 2026.
