The Fantastic Four: First Steps 4K Blu-rays And Exclusives Are On Sale Now

Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps is now available on home video with a release on digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, today September 23. Today is also the day that the pre-orders opened up for the 4K Ultra HD (Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos),Blu-ray, and DVD releases with a drop date of October 14. As is normally the case with Disney’s big Marvel movie releases, there will be several special edition retailer-exclusive Blu-rays to choose from, and you can find them below.

Fantastic Four: First Steps Blu-ray Exclusives

While standard Steelbook 4K Blu-ray, 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD releases will be available for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, in the early going you’ll have the option to pick up limited editions variants for collectors. The crown jewel is an exclusive 4K Blu-ray bundle that includes a limited-edition comic book-style variant of the SteelBook cover with five collector cards, and an exclusive The Fantastic Four: First Steps #1 comic that matches the SteelBook cover design. This release will be exclusive to Amazon, and you can pre-order it here alongside the standard releases. Prices range from $34.99 to $74.99, though they might come down before the launch date. Pre-order customers automatically get any discounts.

On the Blu-ray side, Walmart will be launching another pop-up package design for The Fantastic Four: First Steps that features the team soaring into action in the iconic Fantasticar. It also includes a slipcover. As you might expect, all of the packaging designs lean heavily on the retro-futuristic aesthetic of the film. Pre-orders are available here at Walmart now.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Standard Blu-ray Releases

All of the covers look pretty great in my opinion, but we expect that the Amazon exclusive will be the hottest seller. As a limited edition release, you’ll want to grab it sooner rather than later as all Marvel Blu-ray releases tend to sell quickly. Details on the special features can be found below.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Special Features

The 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases for The Fantastic Four: First Steps feature hours of exclusive bonus content like a gag reel, behind-the-scenes featurettes on the making of the film, and filmmaker commentary by director Matt Shakman and production designer Kasra Farahani. There are also deleted scenes with titles like “Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen”, “Fantastic Four Day”, and “Subterrania” that should prove interesting for fans.
