It’s been 21 years since the launch of the original game, but World of Warcraft is still going strong. In fact, a new expansion to the game is set to release next year called World of Warcraft: Midnight. Naturally, Blizzard wouldn’t release the expansion without a Collector’s Edition that’s full of physical items, in game content, and more. It even includes some housewarming gifts.

World of Warcraft: Midnight Collector’s Edition: Where to Buy

As is always the case with Collector’s Editions like this, quantities will be limited. However, you can get your pre-order in starting today, October 1st exclusively from The Blizzard Gear Store. The new World of Warcraft: Midnight is set to release early 2026.
One of the key features of the new expansion is the housing feature, with players getting the opportunity to design their own homes within Azeroth. As noted, the Collector’s Edition can offer you some housewarming gifts on that front. A main goal for the developers was that players would have the full ability to flex their creative muscles and create a home that feels individual and unique to them. Apparently, Blizzard has prioritized giving fans a ton of options to play with, while also making it simple enough to maneuver. Blizzard has also prioritized social features with housing, meaning you can invite friends over to hang out.
With a new World of Warcraft expansion comes tons of new features, items, abilities and more to dive into. Since the game’s been playable since 2004, it’s gone through many changes to keep it interesting and new, still gaining fans over 20 years later. With the Midnight expansion, it’s clear that Blizzard is far from done.
