Mary Jane Watson Is The Punisher, Iron Fist, & More On New Marvel Variants

What if Mary Jane Watson was the Punisher? What if she wielded the power of the Iron Fist? What if she was also…Gwenpool?

Those questions are answered in a new series of variant covers coming from Marvel Comics. Following the success of the Gwen Stacy variant cover line and the Venomized variant line, Marvel Comics will release a Mary Jane Watson-themed series of variant covers in June to commemorate the release of Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #1 into comic shops.

The Mary Jane variant covers ask Marvel’s top cover artist to reimagine Mary Jane as several of the lead characters of the Marvel Universe. ComicBook.com can now reveal three of those covers.

Stephanie Hans imagines Mary Jane empowered by the chi of Shau-Lao the Undying on the cover to Iron Fist #4. Dave Williams gives Mary Jane a gun and a mission on the cover of The Punisher #13. David Nakayama lets Mary Jane borrow Gwendolyn Poole’s costume for the cover to The Unbelievable Gwenpool #17.
