Don’t expect Spider-Man to be changing his looks too much between the events of Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War.
Star Tom Holland wore a physical Spidey suit on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming but was wearing a motion capture suit on the set of Avengers: Infinity War. That led some to speculate that Spider-Man would be getting a new costume in Avengers: Infinity War, but it turns out that’s not the case.

“I think that’s because my suit sometimes when you’re doing stuff where so much CGI is happening behind you, it’s easier to CGI everything,” Holland explains to Italian outlet Bad Taste. “I just show up and do as I’m told. So, I think that’s because CGI going on on that set that its easier to just paint the Homecoming suit onto my body rather than me wear and them have to paint over it.”
Fans were hoping the motion capture suit was a sign that Spidey would show up in one of his popular alternative costumes, such as the Iron Spider costume or maybe even the alien symbiote Venom costume, but Holland ruled that out.
“No, it’s not going to be different. I don’t think so. It’s the same suit,” Holland says.
Don’t worry Spider-Man fans, there’s always the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel.
