In less than a year, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will introduce moviegoers to Thanos and his true power. The Mad Titan has been featured in various MCU flicks over the year, but the villain will take the spotlight in Avengers: Infinity War. The ensemble flick will see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes team up with other Marvel icons in a last-ditch attempt to save the universe from Thanos as he collects all six Infinity Stones. And, now, one MCU is teasing fans about the location of the franchise’s finale gem.

Recently, Chris Hemsworth appeared at Sydney’s Supanova Comic Con to promote his upcoming gig in Thor: Ragnarok. It was there the actor briefly touched upon the larger MCU and Avengers: Infinity War. When asked about the franchise’s missing Infinity Stone, Hemsworth told fans they will see the Soul Gem very soon. One of the convention’s attendee took to Reddit to share the Infinity Stone teaser. “Chris does know where the soul gem [is] and we’ll find out ‘real soon,’” user @lawrensaw wrote.

So far, five Infinity Stones have already been shown in the MCU, but the Soul Gem has remained elusive. In the comics, the powerful weapon is said to control the souls of anything whether it be living or dead. The gem can also bring its wielder to the afterlife, grant them the power to absorb souls, and even devolve living creatures.

If you have been keeping up with the MCU, then you can probably guess where the Soul Gem will make its debut. Some fans had thought Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 would introduce the object, but the sequel did not deliver. However, many weren’t surprised by the film’s Infinity Stone oversight as it makes more sense for Thor: Ragnarok to introduce the gem.

When Thor: Ragnarok debuts this November, the film will introduce a new villain named Hela to the MCU. The character’s comic origins claims her as the daughter of Loki, and she is ruler of the underworld. Odin declared that Hela would become the goddess of death, and the vixen’s connection with the afterlife makes her a perfect vehicle to introduce the Soul Gem. Should Thanos show up to take the stone or inform Hela of his plans of the Infinity Gauntlet, it would finally clue in Thor to the universe’s dire future. And, so long as he escapes (mostly) unscathed, Thor could return to Earth to inform the Avengers of the Mad Titan’s plot.

Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.
