Fan Cosplay Friday: The Alluring And Lethal Black Widow By Hini Tsuburagi

Stealth isn't really the Avengers thing, and you can easily see why. Sending in the red, white, and blue blur that is Captain America or the hammer-wielding Asgardian God of Thunder or especially the unjolly green giant Hulk is like approaching a covert op while riding a bull with a blowhorn attached.

That's why they enlist the talents of Natasha Romanov, more commonly known as the Black Widow. She specializes in getting in and getting out before anyone knows she's there, and at the same time isn't afraid to get her hands a little dirty if the need arises. The talented spy has had a number of looks throughout the years, but more often than not the look seems to come back around to the classic black body suit with her trademark gold belt and gauntlets.

That's the look that the lovely Cosplayer Hini Tsuburagi sought to recreate, and she knocked it out of the park.

The suit itself isn't as complicated as other costumes, but that's why it holds up so well. Tsuburagi went with the classic version of the characters belt, with the big round gold circles accented by the simple logo in the middle, and accessorized with chunky black boots and Widow's trademark red hair.

As with any cosplay, the costume is only one aspect of it, and Tsuburagi benefits from the photography talents of Juliet Garcia and Peck Photography. Garcia's photos feature more natural lighting, while Peck Photography opts for a brighter light palette, but both methods highlight the costume well.

You can view a few additional photos from the set in the gallery, but make sure to check out their respective pages for more fantastic work.

Hini Tsuburagi's lovely cosplays can be found on her Deviant Art and Facebook pages, and make sure to also check out our previous spotlight on her fantastic Black Canary Cosplay.

Juliet Garcia has built up an impressive collection of photography, which you can view on her Deviant Art page and her official website, where she also offers prints.
