Marvel fans want Adam Warlock, and they want him in the MCU now. The cosmic hero has been a frequently requested over the years, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 finally teased the character’s debut. So, it’s little surprise to see fan-art of the Marvel legend already hitting the Internet.

Over on Twitter, a popular artist known as BossLogic took a moment to mock up Adam Warlock’s MCU aesthetic. The creator fan-casted Luke Bracey in the role, and the 28-year-old actor looks terrifying in this unofficial concept art.

The artwork shows Bracey donning Warlock’s blond locks, and his eyes are glowing red with cosmic power. Suited up in a red number, Warlock is seen with a black tattoo running up the center of his chin, but his skin is notably different from that of his creator. Ayesha is the character behind the creation of Warlock, but this art doesn’t give the hero gold-painted skin like his progenitor.

If you were wondering whether Bracey is in the running for Warlock, then you will have to keep guessing. There has been no word about the hero’s casting as Marvel Studios is still working on its cosmic universe’s stories. James Guun, the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy films, said he envisions Warlock’s actor being rather young. So, sadly, Bracey could be out because that requirement.

The actor may be under 30-years-old, but Gunn has stressed Warlock has a childlike quality to him. The hero may have been formed as a full-grown adult, but his state of mind is not totally matured. It wouldn’t be too surprising if an actor in their early twenties was cast to play the iconic cosmic hero.

For now, fans can only vie for their favorite actors to get the coveted MCU role, but BossLogic has given the fandom some art to chew on for now. Warlock isn’t expected to make an appearance in the franchise until both Avengers 3 & 4 premiere, so it will be quite some time until the hero gets to leave his birthing cocoon which fans saw in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
