Advance Marvel’s Defenders Solicitations For June 2017

Marvel Comics has provided ComicBook.com with a sneak peek at what’s in store for the Defenders in the month of June 2017!

Marvel has revealed the advance June solicitations for June’s issues of The Defenders, Daredevil, and Luke Cage.

A new era launches in The Defenders #1, the first issue of a new series bringing together the Netflix television version of the Defenders in the Marvel Comics Universe. The series comes from the Marvel superstar creative team of behind Civil War II, writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Marquez. The series sees Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones joining forces to battle the New York City’s kingpin of crime.

In Daredevil, Charles Soule and Goran Sudzuka begin the new “Supreme” story arc. Matt Murdock has a new plan to eradicate crime in New York City using the legal system, but it may mean giving up his life as Daredevil. Guest-starring Luke Cage and Echo.

Luke Cage #1 continues David F. Walker and Nelson Blake’s story of Luke getting caught up in a war in New Orleans.
