The latest storyline in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is barreling toward another intense season finale that’s sure to set up another season of espionage action—should the series get picked up, that is.

But while Daisy, Simmons, and Coulson attempt to retrieve their teammates and return to the real world, their current jaunt in the Hydra-controlled reality within the Framework has allowed for some familiar and fan-favorite faces to return to the program in some interesting ways.

We’ve already seen Agents Grant Ward and Antoine Triplett return to aid their old friends, and now ABC has released the first look at former Hydra goon and current Bill O’Reilly replacement Sunil Bakshi, played by Simon Kassianides.

The clip takes place moments after the end of the last episode, in which May throws a Terrigen crystal at Daisy’s feet and causes her Inhuman transformation.

The two Hydra defectors then proceed to fight their way out, but a clip on a computer monitor reveals that Bakshi is now a TV news shot host. He spouts propaganda for the Hydra-controlled state, praising the death of the Patriot—which took place in the previous episode.

Bakshi was one of the more memorable villains from the show’s second season, serving as a middle-man for one of the many Hydra heads, Daniel Whitehall. The poor spineless sap was captured by SHIELD, used as a pawn to kill off Hydra leadership, recaptured by Ward, brainwashed, then killed by Simmons.

The last pod of Agents of SHIELD episodes has served as an awesome thematic exploration of previous themes, tying a lot of older story elements in as the Agents navigate this artificial reality. Hopefully the show gets picked up for another season and it maintains this pace through its new episodes.

“All The Madame’s Men” premieres tonight (Tuesday) at 10p EST on ABC.
