Marvel Studios is notoriously secretive about their plans, but when it comes to their latest crossover epic they’re going overkill.

Sebastian Stan is set to reprise his role to Avengers: Infinity War and the following sequel. Filming for the forthcoming team-up movie wrapped in July and Stan has long since finished shooting his scenes for the movie, but the actor still hasn’t read the script.
Stan revealed the surprising news at Toronto International Film Festival during a conversation with Collider when he spoke about filming with Joe and Anthony Russo on the daunting Marvel movie.
“I didn’t read a script for the last movie, so I was kind of in the dark,” said Stan. “Which is always ok for the Winter Soldier.”
It’s interesting that Stan doesn’t seem to mind the context of his scenes, but after playing the role in three films he’s able to adapt. The actor said he’s able to get into his character very quickly.
“I think there’s just an element of trust, it’s a family system and at this point, I feel like between the writers and the Russos everyone kind of guesses their next move so to speak and I feel like they know very well what I’m going to be bringing,” Stan said.
Marvel guarding their movie’s plot details shouldn’t be surprising at this point. Spider-Man actor (and Stan’s mortal enemy) Tom Holland made a commotion on social media when he burned his script. He later said that he didn’t get to read the whole thing, joking that Marvel brass didn’t trust him to keep his mouth shut.
In a world of spoilers, leaks, and set photos, Marvel has their work cut out for them. Not to mention that they’re working from source material in the comic books, where a lot of storyline developments have already been written.
Stan might not know the plot right now, but he’ll find out (along with the rest of us) when Avengers: Infinity War opens up on May 4, 2018.
