Photos of Paul Bettany, 45, and Elizabeth Olsen, 28, filming scenes together on the Edinburgh, Scotland set of Avengers: Infinity War hit the web yesterday (view here). They revealed that the romance that was blossoming between Vision and Scarlet Witch in Captain America: Civil War has now bloomed. The pair beamed with joy, staring deep into each other’s eyes and sharing a kiss.

However, the coupling and the kiss were the least shocking things about the images. For whatever reason, Vision is missing his red skin (and his infinity stone), looking much more like the actor playing him than the android he is. Since Vision is on a endless quest to better understand human beings and tries to fit in with them, perhaps he sought out world-renowned geneticist Dr. Helen Cho โ who unwilling created him โ use her state-of-the-art regeneration cradle to create synthetic skin.
Aside from the photos, three new Avengers: Infinity War set videos have surface. One features Vision and Scarlet Witch on a date, holding hands. And the other two feature big, massive explosions!
Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in the MCU since 2008’s Iron Man. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

In the comics, their relationship’s origin is much more complicated. When the Vision was created by Ultron in the books, the red and green android managed to take out Avenger at the time, Simon Williams (Wonder Man). As Simon was critically injured and near death, the Avengers made a last ditch attempt to save him by transplanting his brainwaves into the Vision. Since Scarlet Witch and Wonder Man had a thing going at the time, she transitioned to the Vision and started dating him!

Taking place at the beginning of the month on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, a fiery stunt was filmed on the Avengers: Infinity War set. As you can see in the video, a truck was blown to smithereens. Once the shot was complete, firefighters — who were on stand-by — rushed in and put out the blaze.

Here’s another explosion that took place on the Edinburgh set. Eyewitnesses claim that the blast was caused by Scarlet Witch. Since she, Vision, and a stuntman resembling a member of Thanos’ Black Order, were all spotted filming scenes in the area, the best guess is that Scarlet Witch is using her powers to protect her android boyfriend — who is being targeted by the Mad Titan because he possesses the Mind Stone.
