Earlier today, Deadpool fans got their first-look of Zazie Beetz’s Domino, but there is still more to come. Ryan Reynolds dropped the image on Twitter just hours ago, but a close-up look at the mutant is now making its way around the Internet.

Over on Twitter, Discussing Film shared a new look at Domino from Deadpool 2 which can be found below. Fans can see the star is donning the same outfit and hairdo that was seen in Reynold’s post from earlier today. The close-up covers the character from the bust upwards, showing off Domino’s natural hair and ample cleavage.
Of course, fans will be quick to notice the mark surrounding Domino’s left eye. The pale mark appears to be a sign of vitiligo, a condition which makes parts of someone’s skin become devoid of melanin. In the comics, Domino is known for having her left eyed ringed with color as Neena Thurman has a black tattoo inked on her face.
If you are not familiar with Domino, then you have quite a bit to catch up on. The character is a mainstay in the Deadpool canon, and she is known as a fan-favorite to longtime readers. Domino was born as Neena Thurman, and she was created under an experiment known as Project: Armageddon. The experiment wanted to engineer perfect soldiers soldiers using a precognitive mutant, but Domino eventually escaped the U.S. government’s clutches.

Brought up as a freelance mercenary, Domino has a rather unique power. The character’s mutant gift gives her insanely good luck as she can manipulate probabilities in her favor. In the comics, Domino and Deadpool run into each other over again, and the mercenary becomes one of Cable’s most persistent love interests in the X-Men franchise.

David Leitch (John Wick) will direct the sequel, taking over for original Deadpool director Tim Miller.
Ryan Reynolds will return as Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, the Merc with a Mouth. For the sequel, he’ll be joined by Josh Brolin as Cable. Cable was co-created by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld and Louise Simonson. He has often been paired with Deadpool as his grim, serious demeanor serves as the perfect foil to Deadpool’s crude and zany humor. The duo headlined an ongoing comic book series, Cable & Deadpool, for 50 issues.
Jack Kesy has been cast in an undisclosed villain role, speculated to be Black Tom Cassidy. Shioli Kutsuna has also joined the production in an undisclosed “key” role.
Deadpool 2 opens in theaters on June 1, 2018.
