Earlier this week, the Internet was buzzing after Deadpool‘s TJ Miller was arrested early Friday morning. The comedic actor was arrested at 1:00 a.m. on Friday after police officers arrived at Miller’s home. The actor was charged with battery after allegedly assaulting an Uber driver after the two got in a spat over Donald Trump. And, now, Miller is teasing he’ll address his arrest at tonight’s Critics’ Choice Awards.

Tonight, Miller will host the awards ceremony, and it looks like the actor might poke fun at the recent charges laid against him. “Tonight I will address the elephant in the room at [the Critics Choice Awards] on A&E,” he wrote on Twitter not long ago. “Tune in and find out.”

Of course, Miller may not be able to say much about his arrest depending on its status. The actor would be amiss to impeded any legal cases pending on the battery charges because he wanted to make a few jokes, but fans are nonetheless interested to hear why Miller has to say about the ordeal.

Shorty after Miller’s arrest was made public, details about the incident quickly hit the Internet. The LAPD were called by the victim who works as a driver for Uber. The driver said Miller slapped him in the face after they argued over Donald Trump and the recent Presidential election. The victim immediately identified Miller as the perpetrator and demanded he be arrested.

As fans know, Miller was arrested before he posted bail shortly after.

In just a few hours, Miller will likely make reference to his recent incarceration in some shape or form when the Critics’ Choice Awards go live. For now, fans will have to wait and see whether he makes good on the tease – and if they’re lucky – maybe get a Deadpool reference or two to go with it.

If you are not familiar with Miller’s involvement with Deadpool, then you should know he played a character named Weasel. As Wade Wilson’s friend, Weasel was a confidante to Deadpool after the mouthy character managed to escape the Weapon X facility he was being experimented upon. The actor is set to star in Deadpool 2, and Miller has teased there will be a lot more fun to come in the second movie.

Deadpool‘s Holiday Blu-ray package is now available and retails for $25.99. Deadpool 2 is expected to begin filming next year and is due out January 12, 2018.
