Logan hit theaters this weekend and brought with the “No Good Deeds” short featuring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool.
The new short takes place on a rundown street attached to a dirty alleyway. The entire setting is covered in graffiti and fliers that may or may not be hiding all sorts of hints and messages.

One piece of graffiti reads “Oggy Was Here.” This seems to be just a random remark, but it may be a nod to a character from Marvel Comics who is an ally of Thor.
The Marvel Comics character is called Oggy for short, but his full name is Oggmunder Dragglevadd Vinnsuvius XVII. He is a Mountain Giant from Jotunheim who joins the League of Realms, a team of heroes assembled from across the Nine Realms by Thor to hunt down Malekith the Accursed, who was killing other Dark Elves.

In order to soothe the tension among the League of Realms, Thor took the League to a tavern and challenge Oggy to a drinking contest for the others to bet on. Thor wins the contest but serves the purpose of helping the team to bond.
Unfortunately, during the next battle against Malekith, the Dark Elf leaps into Oggy’s mouth and slays the giant.
Oggy’s entire story was told over two issues, making it a strange reference for the Deadpool movie, especially since Deadpool and Thor are controlled by different movie studios. Perhaps “Oggy” was just something random that the producers and set dressers put together, or maybe there’s another joke that we’re just not getting.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, and Stefan Kapiฤiฤ.
The Deadpool movie’s sequel is currently in pre-production. Reynolds will return with writer Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. David Leitch will direct. The film will introduce Deadpool’s time-traveling mutant partner, Cable, as well as X-Force member Domino. Members of the original film’s supporting cast are also expected to return.
