For many, they would consider the first-half of this season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to be a major upgrade over most of what took place in the previous three seasons. And much of Season 4’s success can be attributed to the addition of Ghost Rider/Robbie Reyes (portrayed by Gabriel Luna).

However, since Ghost Rider presumably got sucked into a parallel universe while taking down Eli Morrow in the winter finale, we probably won’t see the Burning Man any time soon and the show will now focus on Aida, the Life Model Decoy, turning against S.H.I.E.L.D. (and humanity).
With that said, let’s now take a look at a new “Designing the Rider” featurette that Marvel Entertainment released today. In it, Costume Designer Ann Foley breaks down the design for Ghost Rider’s iconic look, explaining that she looked at Felipe Smith and Tradd Moore’s source material.
“I wanted to pay tribute to the comics, and so, I tried to stay true to that color palette as well, so we gave him some gray jeans,” she says in the video above. “They’re just your basic Levis. And then of course, he’s got the old-school Vans.”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
The regular cast features Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, and Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return to ABC in 2017, airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
