Doctor Strange Blu-Ray, DVD Cover Art Revealed

Earlier this year, Doctor Strange levitated into theaters to endless praise. The Marvel film broke box-office records which once belonged to its predecessors as the origin film raked in millions of dollars. Fans from all over the world rushed to cinemas to see Benedict Cumberbatch don Stephen Strange’s iconic cloak, and the film will be heading to home video shortly for some. Thanks to Marvel UK, fans know now what the cover art of Doctor Strange‘s Blu-ray and DVD packages intend to look like.

So, if you are in the UK, then you should rejoice. For those who live elsewhere, you may want to tone down your enthusiasm just a tad. Why? Well, there’s no official home release date set for Doctor Strange in the U.S. or other territories. Marvel UK confirmed on Twitter that the magical blockbuster would go be available for Blu-ray and DVD on March 6, 2017. So far, there has been no word on when Doctor Strange will be released on home video for U.S. fans, but audiences are hoping it hits shelves sooner rather than later.

From Marvel comes DOCTOR STRANGE, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place – a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange – armed with newly acquired magical powers – is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. The cast features Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Star Into Darkness, The Imitation Game), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes), Michael Stuhlbarg (A Serious Man), Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale), and Tilda Swinton (The Grand Budapest Hotel).

The film is directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister) and written by Derrickson, Jon Spaihts (Prometheus), and C. Robert Cargill (Sinister).
