It’s getting harder and harder to indulge in the “DC vs Marvel” rivalry – especially since the creative minds from each universe seem to get along so well with each other!

In recent months, we’ve seen Marvel filmmakers praise DC filmmakers, and vice versa, as each set of directors is seemingly challenged (in the best way possible) by the competition. The latest bit of praise being passed around the aisle is from Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson, who had some nice words to say about DC Extended Universe filmmaker Zack Snyder‘s work on the 2009 adaptation of Watchmen.

As stated, it’s strange that fans continue such vitriolic back and forth exchanges about DC vs Marvel movies and TV shows; clearly the creative minds involved in these universes enjoy the wide variety of offerings, and as many fans argue, having all of these comic book universes constantly putting out new content is something a true fan would appreciate.
Doctor Strange is now available on digital download; Zack Snyder will follow his divisive DC Extended Universe films Man of Steel and Batman v Superman with Justice League, later this year.
