The box-office is looking better and better for Doctor Strange. The film will embrace its second weekend at the box office over the next few days, and early estimates are predicting the film to top moviegoer's to-see list.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the mystical film is expected to rake in more than $36 million or more. Trolls will follow in second place as sources predict the film to gross $32 million.

Several new films will be making their debut this weekend as well. The sci-fi flick Arrival will crash onto the scene to an estimated $6.5 million gross. Thursday night previews for the flick raked in about $1.5 million.

Almost Christmas is anticipating a slightly lower box-office debut. The comedy is expected to draw in about $5 million for Universal Pictures. EuropaCorp's Shut In will also hit cinemas this weekend. So far, the movie's prospects do not look great. It seems as if the film will earn $3 at most when it premieres.

From Marvel comes DOCTOR STRANGE, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place – a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. Before long Strange – armed with newly acquired magical powers – is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. The cast features Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Star Into Darkness, The Imitation Game), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes), Michael Stuhlbarg (A Serious Man), Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale), and Tilda Swinton (The Grand Budapest Hotel).

The film is directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister) and written by Derrickson, Jon Spaihts (Prometheus), and C. Robert Cargill (Sinister).
