The long coming reunion is almost here, and things get off to a running start in Marvel’s Venom #6, where a desperate government brings in Eddie Brock to help reign in the suit he once wore.

The new host Lee Price isn’t one to care much about civilian casualties or destruction of public property, something Spider-Man, unfortunately, learns a bit too late. Venom’s deadly enough on the ground, but give him a helicopter and, well, you do the math. It seems all three are bound to collide, and the big question is who will end up with the symbiote once the fire dies down.
This all leads to next month’s big Venom #150, which will spearhead a new path for the popular anti-hero, but it isn’t know just what that new path will consist of, and whether he’ll be a hero or a villain. Venom does love to lurk in the gray though, so expect plenty of questionable behavior.
Editor Nick Lowe spoke to ComicBook.com last year about Brock coming back to the mythos and the big 150 issue. “We’ve got so many exciting plans for that. After Venom #6, we’re going to have Venom #150, which will be this huge oversized issue. Devin has incredible plans with Mike and with some other creators as well to really pump that up. It’s going to be such a cool issue. I cannot wait. We’ve also been teasing from the very beginning that Eddie Brock is coming back. Right now he’s in Carnage, which everyone absolutely should check out because it is such a great book. I love that book. I hope people keep checking that out and look forward to Venom #150.”
