After Hawkeye shockingly murdered Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk, in a tense standoff in Civil War II #3, the divide between Captain Marvel and Iron Man over the use of the precognitive Inhuman Ulysses’ powers has never been wider. Carol Danvers returns to the Triskelion and finds a surprising shoulder to cry on in Bruce Banner’s cousin, She-Hulk, who is still badly wounded from the battle against Thanos.
What was once an ideological dispute has suddenly become a cause worth going to war for, and the heroes of the Marvel Universe will have to choose a side. Will they stand with Captain Marvel, who champions using Ulysses’ powers to dish out preemptive justice and to change the future, or will they back Iron Man, who seek to stop the use of Ulysses’ powers and protect the future?
Civil War II #4 goes on sale in comic book stores and digital comics apps on July 27, 2016. Check out the full preview in the gallery at the bottom of the page.
