Deadpool #19 is the next chapter of the Deadpool 2099 story. The issue reintroduces Wade Wilson into the 2099 world. He may not be Deadpool anymore, but Wade is still kicking around the year 2099. Check out Koblish’s design for Wade Wilson 2099 below.
In the year 2099, Wade Wilson is no longer Deadpool. Wade’s daughter, Warda Willson, is Deadpool 2099. Warda has kept Wade as her prisoner for years trying to force him to give her information about her mother, Queen Shiklah.
Now a new challenge has emerged. Warda’s half-sister, Ellie Preston, has emerged and taken the name of Deadpool for herself. She’s broken Wade out of confinement and introduced him to an artificial intelligence based on her adopted mother, Emily Preston.
Now Warda is out to make herself the undisputed Deadpool 2099, but Wade is back on the street as well, and he’s got a trenchcoat and a hefty looking shotgun. On top of that, another of Wade’s old friends is making an appearance as well. Which of Wade Wilson’s daughters will claim the Deadpool name once and for all?
Deadpool #19 goes on sale in comic book stores and in digital comics apps on Sept. 28. Check out the preview pages in the gallery below.
