Marvel gave fans one final surprise at SDCC today, unveiling Kurt Russell's costume as Ego the Living Planet on the SDCC floor. Yesterday, Marvel Studios revealed that Russell would play a human form of Ego, who traveled to Earth and fathered Peter Quill.

The costume looks simple, but elegant, with a long cape and a suede shirt. Ego's costume includes intricate gauntlets and shoulder pads, as well as two similarly detailed patches on the side of the shirt. Basically, it looks like a costume that an ancient cosmically powered lifeform would wear when meeting his son for the first time.
Here's a video showing the costume from all angles:
In the comics, Ego is a planet sized lifeform and one of the more powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. It was said that Kurt Russell's version of Ego was his "human" body, created by Ego to experience what it was like to be human.
